In 1999 David Douglas founded what is now one of Dublin’s leading digital agencies, ebow. He is also founder & Creative Director of ebow, the art gallery.

David specialises in connecting the dots for brands who wish to capitalise on the “digital world” and develop new audiences through the use of online media and digital marketing.

David also owns the ebow gallery; a creative think-tank, housed in a digital marketing agency, that doubles up as an art gallery. At the ebow gallery not only can the public mingle with the likes of Pattie Boyd; but clients get a good grasp on our vision of how any creative digital agency should be: full of activity, change and revolution.

Shows that David has curated and sponsored include Ronnie Wood, Pattie Boyd, Bob Dylan’s Rolling Thunder Revue by Ken Regan and NYC Street artists Skewville along with TRACES and The Moderns at The Irish Museum of Modern Art.

David has spoken about the world of the digital agency for the Marketing Institute of Ireland, been featured on the front page of Business Plus and written about in the Sunday Business Post for his pioneering work in digital in Ireland. He is also responsible for the Digital Agency Dublin initiative, which includes the Digital Thursday events run in conjunction with the Marketing Institute of Ireland. Guest speakers have included the GAA and AIB Merchant Services.

David’s digital/ebow clients include: Aras an Uachtaráin, O2, Disney, Entertainment.ie, The GAA, Audi, 48 Go Conquer, AIB Merchant Services, Coolmore, safefood, The Irish Museum of Modern Art and the National Transport Authority.

David has been profiled by Image Magazine, Sunday Business Post and The Examiner; with additional articles on branding and marketing published in the Irish Marketing Journal and the Marketing Magazine. He judges the GAA McNamee Communication Awards and the UK’s Fresh Awards. He has been on Matt Cooper’s ‘The Last Word’ and was used as a case study ‘Early Adopter’ by The Irish Times. Dave’s interview with Business Plus magazine saw him featured on the front cover.
